Description
I was at home a few months ago watching this show "Meerkat Manor" with meh mom. Its about this one family of meerkats and they all have names and ranks and are introduced at the begining of each episode. Well during one of these episodes came on where these two teenaged meerkats stole one of their younger siblings out into the wild and was playing around with him and eventually got bored and left him stranded. There was no hope for him, but miracle on miracle, for no appearent reason, one of the upper ranking ones (and my fav cus he's so handsome ^^) named Shakespeare headed back early from hunting and found the youngling and brought him home safely. Then the rest of the family find this snake hidding in a hole, and try to get it out. Well Shakespeare ends up getting bit twice, once on the leg and once on the face. They said he had enough posion to kill two full grown men. All in Shakespeare's poor little less the five pound body. The poor guy struggled on. I believe he survived, but I'm not sure cus the episode ended. But its got a website too. from Animal Planet's web page. Anyway I drew this to commemorate him, cus he's really awesome and brave and I felt bad for the poor critter.

Some Real Facts:
But not to ruine anybodies day, Shakespeare was actually not in the mob in the oh so famous "Deadly Lazuli Attack". If you look closely, that was a female. And Shakespeare was on a roving trip or something a day before the so called "attack" on the Whiskers, Shakespeare's mob. And its possible that the burrow raid never exsisted. Or atleast, against the Lazuli and Whiskers. Animal Planet is known for lying, trust me. The Kalahari Meerkat Project gives out ACTUAL imformation, like the reals name of the Meerkats. For example, most of Flower's offspring don't have the names they do on the show.
Yeah, sorry to ruine peoples day, but I had to tell you the truth cause I get annoyed when people start talking about all these lies. Of course, I'm sure none of you knew they were lies. But, it still irritates me.
